Wimbledon 2025: Final Week Heats Up with Blockbuster Clashes!
The final week of Wimbledon 2025 is serving up elite tennis action, with some of the sport’s biggest names still in the hunt for glory in both the men’s and women’s draws.
Novak Djokovic is currently battling it out on Centre Court against Flavio Cobolli, while world No. 1 Jannik Sinner is locked in a thrilling quarter-final against American star Ben Shelton on No. 1 Court — a spot in the semi-finals on the line.
Iga Swiatek has already secured her place in the semi-finals with a dominant straight-sets win. However, teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva’s dream run ended as she was ousted by Belinda Bencic.
Tuesday saw the last remaining British singles hope, Cam Norrie, bow out of the tournament. Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz proved too strong, dispatching Norrie in straight sets on Centre Court.

Sinner 7-6, 6-4, 5-4 Shelton*
Sinner misses an easy finish, allowing Shelton to pounce. Frustrated, the Italian smacks his leg after a desperate recovery attempt.
Shelton jumps to 0-30 after a first serve into the net and some nervy play — but Sinner fights back, forcing errors and hitting a stunning passing shot. Shelton now needs to hold serve to stay alive in the match.
Cobolli* 7-6, 2-2 Djokovic
Djokovic opens the game by netting a routine forehand and stares at his racquet in disbelief. He recovers quickly with a powerful serve down the T, followed by an angled wide serve that draws a long miss from Cobolli.
The Italian then rallies back with a superb forehand to win a tense exchange, drawing gasps from the Centre Court crowd. But Djokovic finishes strong — serve and volley to 40-30, then seals the hold with an ace.
Sinner* 7-6, 6-4, 4-4 Shelton
The crowd is doing everything possible to lift Shelton’s spirits.
Many would have already folded under Sinner’s relentless pressure, but Shelton is standing tall. Both players have been clinical on serve — each dropping just four points in the third set so far.
Cobolli 7-6, 2-1 Djokovic*
Cobolli takes control with his forehand, blasting a stunning winner down the line at 30-0.
He powers to 40-15 and closes the game with an ace out wide. The Italian is playing fearlessly.
